Community Initiatives
Making a Difference, One Initiative at a Time
Adopt a Road: A national anti-litter programme where South African businesses sponsor litter collection along selected roads or stretches of highway. IWESCO franchisees carry out the clean-up campaigns, helping to keep communities and public spaces clean and safe.
National Environmental Consciousness Programme (NECPO): This initiative directs 30% of participating companies’ sponsorship funds to media awareness campaigns. Additional funds support educational programmes, recycling-at-source initiatives, and the installation of recycling stations at sponsor workplaces. These efforts help businesses reduce their carbon footprint while promoting environmental responsibility nationwide.
